Healthy breakfast foods are important for kids and adults a like. Breakfast is especially important for growing kids. Kids need enough energy to prepare them for all of the adventures their daily life has in stock for them.
Fueled with the right breakfast they burst with energy and are ready for all the things the day ahead has to offer. When in the classroom or on the sports field kids are prepared for any challenge when they have had a nutritious breakfast.
So, why skip breakfast?
Is it true?
Well, it seems logical since we spend quite a few hours sleeping and then we wake up to an empty stomach. What do we do when we are hungry? We eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast.

Slowly introducing healthy foods into your kitchen is a great way to get your kids eating healthy. I mean if my fridge was full of unhealthy food I would eat it too just because it is there. I know when ice cream makes its occasional appearance in our freezer we crave it all the time no matter what time of the day. Ice cream for breakfast that's not normal right?
If healthy breakfast foods are available there is no excuse to go without a nutritious breakfast in the morning.
For my family indulging on a healthy pancake on a day like Sunday is a great treat. The topping can be whatever you feel like. Sweet with maple syrup is my personal favorite. With a savory topping like pesto, cream cheese, vegetables, and chicken ham they are just as special.
Some weekends become even more special and festive when we have friends around to enjoy some delicious breakfast and brunch recipes. There are many varieties that are begging to be tried.
